Exactly 10:00AM Our interim minister Brother Eric De-graft Otoo led the church in songs and the master of worship. We sung so beautifuly from our new "Twi" (a local Ghanaian language) hymn book which we baught. It is a book which has a translation of some of the songs from the English hymn book.

Unfortunately, we visited one of the leaders of the church who was seriousely sick and even could not walk. we prayed and sung with her and wish her all the best.
We then move to know others home and also visited our regular visiter. This movement was done by the whole church including some of the children, and it was so joyful.

"College Church of Christ Salute you"
May the good Lord Bless you for taking the time to visit our Blog. We therefore encourage you to continue to visit here every Sunday after church service. we are going to do our best to post everything that went on in our Sunday worship and Bible study.
But First, permit us to use this opportunity to introduce ourself which is very important in life.
We would like to thank you for visiting our blog and extend an invitation to you to come and worship with us. The Bible instructs on how we are to worship. The book of John, chapter 4, verse 24 tells us not only that we are to worship God, but it tells us how we must worship, it says worship God "in Spirit and truth". This is what we are earnestly trying to do at College Church of Christ.
College Church of Christ is a growing congregation, with about 65 worshipers on Sunday morning. We have Bible classes for all ages after the Sunday morning worship service and at the week days Bible study on Friday nights.
The College Church of Christ congregation was established in the 18th June, 2006 when Churches of Christ Student Union in Ghana began a two weeks house -to-house evangelism after which a strong follow up effort was made by two young evangelists- Ev. Garpue Lieway and Lawrence Lamptey. Few accepted the Gospel and gave themselves to Christ in Baptism This was the beginning of our congregation. Our first meeting took place on 18th June, 2006 with 11 people. The Church was established to serve the Heritage Christian College and the Communities around her. The church is actively involved in Outreach ministry and Benevolence efforts. Our formal minister (Evg. Garpue Lieway) left to study in Abilene Christian University Abeline-Texas therefore, we have a volunteer minister who is serving as the interim minister( Mr.Otoo Eric De-graft) he happens to be the Administrator for the Heritage Christian College-Ghana
The church has committed men of God who are leaders of the church and two faithful women who are the women group leaders.
The church can now boast of a strong reliable youth and children ministry and has a total membership of 34 on Sunday morning with about 29 baptized members and 5 regular visitors.
Worship= 10AM - 11:30AM
Bible Study= 11:30AM - 12:30 after noon
1st and 2nd Fridays in a month = Bible Study = 7PM - 8PM
3rd and 4th Fridays in a month- Prayers= 7PM-8PM
College church also runs a ministry Caregivers Ministry founded by Lawrence Lamptey. This is actively involved in Preaching the Gospel through Provision of Basic Human Needs. We are reminded of the Connection between helping the Poor and the opportunity for winning their souls for Christ and bringing them to an intimate relationship with both the Lord Jesus and the Church.
We will love to hear from you often.Moreover, you can contact us anytime you are visiting Ghana.
