"The Day of Spiritual Revival"

(Lawrence in a picture with the oldest woman in the church after the church visited her)

Sunday 14th October was one of the blessed day in the life of College church of Christ. Our worship was in the spirit. It was "Praying and Fasting" service. The activity started in each member home of which no body ate nor drink from morning six o'clock to 12 noon. we all gather at church as usual at at 10 o'clock in the morning to sing and pray to GOD.

There was two section: The first one was led by brother Emmanuel Asante. He led the congregation to sing to praise God and pray many kinds of prayers, some of which are prayer for the sick, orphans, needy, backsliders, problems of members and their families etc.
The second section was led by our interim Minister Brother De-graft Otoo, where he emphasized on the Universal Church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ( Church of Christ) of which we find our selves in and are saved in. He led the church to pray for all churches of Christ in the whole wide world, their members, ministers, missionaries, the church's evangelistic programmes, the church's projects and the mission programmes. The College church having fed in the spirit through prayer and fasting thank the Lord so much for Listening to our supplications. The fasting ended at exactly 12 noon. And we dine with the Lord at His Holy table.
Evangelist P. Nathan Tears led the Lord's Supper and assisted by Brother Edward Darku and Brother Mereku. This end Sunday worship on a good note.

The church have one and only older sister of about 86 years old. she have been a faithful sister in the church and a regular attendant both on Sunday morning worship and week day bible study. she is seriously ill after she came back from a visit to her sisters in a different city. The whole church went to visit her and prayed for her. The church have decided to support her by giving her some support every month since she is old and can not work or do anything for a living. one interesting thing about her is both her daughters (2) , in-law and grandchildren and all members of the College church. She is baptized by brother Lawrence. Please we are urging you all readers to please keep her in your prayers... We will appreciate any help you have for her too.
