Bismark a young energetic brother gave us the announcement and programmes scheduled for the week.

The children ministry are planing on a fun games to envangelize the children world, therefore they have invited three other nearby sister congregations to come join them to paticipate in this fun games on 17th May, 2008. Gen 12:10-16. You can imagine how debatable the bible study as far as this topic is concern will be. In fact brethren who normally don't speak at bible study spoke on this topic. The whole group then came together in the main ward which is mostly occupied by children axcept two adults, there are four wards in total.

The items donated are presents or gifts brought by the members of the church from their cheerful hearts the church baught few more to add. Last week was a glorious Sunday for the Church for unto the church a child is born by Brother Ebenezer Asate and the wife, therefore we have to name the child and also bless the child.

Brother Otoo preach on the topic "The important of naming a child" Lawrence Lamptey Blessed and name the child. In the Ghanaian custom there is a special way by which a child is named and we will like to share with anybody who want to how. Just send us a mail asking how it is done.

Well, Sunday 16th December attendance was encouraging but the greater number came from the children. Therefore, this has to be done today. Lawrence did the naming and the blessing while brother Otoo preached.
The Lord's supper was led by Brother Otoo assisted by Bismark Okyere and Daniel Adjie
The first prayer was given by Ebenezer Asante, Inter sectional prayer was given by Abraham Quao and the Closing Prayer was led by Brother Emmanuel Mableh.

The attendance to day was quite good but with the children taken the lead, one thing about Ghanaians is when is geting to this time of the season many are those who want to travel to their hometown, visit friends, join family members to celebrate, and this always give a different picture to attendance of the church through out Ghana.

Next week sunday is going to be a cheeful day and meery making for we are going to have our coming meal fellowship and Preacher appreciation day brethren are asked to cook from their homes and bring it to the church to joing together and share. Aslo each member is to bring a gift to the Preacher and his family.

ATTENDANCE

MEN: 17
WOMEN: 15 = 32

TODDLERS: 25
INTERMEDIATES : 10 = 36

VISITORS 5 = 5

TOTAL = 73

GIVEN: ¢ 500,500 / 5GH¢ 5PWS

One interesting thing you will like to know is , all the money recieved on these two sundays were given to these new born babies one is a girl and the second is a boy these are their names.

1. Since many of us never knew that meeting the needs of the Poor is part of the true worship. In the message God that came today through Brother Lawrence we were made aware that Helping the poor and the widows are vital part in Christianity. Frother the Book of Deutronomy 15:7-11 teaches us that we should continue to open our hand so wide to the poor that are in our Land. The church is Medie church of Christ it was established by Amasaman church of Christ which and I was a key member in establishing that church over 10 years ago. Now the church dying and needs revival. Please, there are so many churches in the villages of Ghana dying. We need Men to work. I have decided to talk to the leaders at college church so that we can start sending brethren to go help the Medie church since we are one family in Christ with one baptism, one faith, one God and spirit. Above are pictures I took when I was worshiping with them the attendance was 28 , 6 women, and 11 men including me. Our worship was in the spirit. It was "Praying and Fasting" service. The activity started in each member home of which no body ate nor drink from morning six o'clock to 12 noon. we all gather at church as usual at at 10 o'clock in the morning to sing and pray to GOD.

There was two section: The first one was led by brother Emmanuel Asante. He led the congregation to sing to praise God and pray many kinds of prayers, some of which are prayer for the sick, orphans, needy, backsliders, problems of members and their families etc.
The second section was led by our interim Minister Brother De-graft Otoo, where he emphasized on the Universal Church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ( Church of Christ) of which we find our selves in and are saved in. He led the church to pray for all churches of Christ in the whole wide world, their members, ministers, missionaries, the church's evangelistic programmes, the church's projects and the mission programmes. The College church having fed in the spirit through prayer and fasting thank the Lord so much for Listening to our supplications. The fasting ended at exactly 12 noon. And we dine with the Lord at His Holy table.
Evangelist P. Nathan Tears led the Lord's Supper and assisted by Brother Edward Darku and Brother Mereku. This end Sunday worship on a good note.

The church have one and only older sister of about 86 years old. she have been a faithful sister in the church and a regular attendant both on Sunday morning worship and week day bible study. she is seriously ill after she came back from a visit to her sisters in a different city. The whole church went to visit her and prayed for her. The church have decided to support her by giving her some support every month since she is old and can not work or do anything for a living. one interesting thing about her is both her daughters (2) , in-law and grandchildren and all members of the College church. She is baptized by brother Lawrence. Please we are urging you all readers to please keep her in your prayers... We will appreciate any help you have for her too.

ATTENDANCE:

CHILDREN: Toddlers - 14
                           Intermediate - 9 = 23

ADULTS: Men - 23
                           Women: - 11 = 34
TOTAL 57
GIVING ¢ 161,600 /New currency= 16GH¢ 16PW

We are still reminding you to continue to pray for us in the Name of Jesus Christ.

We Love you all!!!!

"Our Day"

"Our God is So Good all the time" Sunday 7th October worship was good and the Brethren were filled with the message that came. The Bible instructs on how we are to worship. The book of John, chapter 4, verse 24 tells us not only that we are to worship God, but it tells us how we must worship, it says worship God "in Spirit and truth". This is what we are earnestly trying to do at College Church of Christ.

College Church of Christ is a growing congregation, with about 65 worshipers on Sunday morning. We have Bible classes for all ages after the Sunday morning worship service and at the week days Bible study on Friday nights.

The College Church of Christ congregation was established in the 18th June, 2006 when Churches of Christ Student Union in Ghana began a two weeks house -to-house evangelism after which a strong follow up effort was made by two young evangelists- Ev. Garpue Lieway and Lawrence Lamptey. Few accepted the Gospel and gave themselves to Christ in Baptism This was the beginning of our congregation. Our first meeting took place on 18th June, 2006 with 11 people. The Church was established to serve the Heritage Christian College and the Communities around her. The church is actively involved in Outreach ministry and Benevolence efforts. Our formal minister (Evg. Garpue Lieway) left to study in Abilene Christian University Abeline-Texas therefore, we have a volunteer minister who is serving as the interim minister( Mr.Otoo Eric De-graft) he happens to be the Administrator for the Heritage Christian College-Ghana

The church has committed men of God who are leaders of the church and two faithful women who are the women group leaders.

The church can now boast of a strong reliable youth and children ministry and has a total membership of 34 on Sunday morning with about 29 baptized members and 5 regular visitors.

Worship= 10AM - 11:30AM

Bible Study= 11:30AM - 12:30 after noon

1st and 2nd Fridays in a month = Bible Study = 7PM - 8PM

3rd and 4th Fridays in a month- Prayers= 7PM-8PM

College church also runs a ministry Caregivers Ministry founded by Lawrence Lamptey.
